Burnout rarely announces itself — it hides in plain sight, showing up as disengagement, short tempers, missed deadlines, and quiet withdrawal long before anyone names it. Drawing on current 2026 EAP workforce data on emotional health, anxiety, and stress, this interactive session equips leaders and HR professionals with the awareness and tools to see what others often overlook.
Participants will explore what burnout actually looks like on a team, how leadership behavior either accelerates or interrupts it, and how to build a culture where people get support earlier rather than later. Through a practical framework for self-awareness and intentional leadership, attendees will leave with concrete strategies they can put to work immediately.
This session is led by Joan Fletcher who is a nationally recognized leadership coach and facilitator, president of Winning Ways, Inc., and the founder of the Leadership Evolution Program (LEP). For more than 30 years, she and her dynamic network of 14 coaches and facilitators have empowered forward-thinking leaders and high-performing teams to unlock their full potential and achieve remarkable results.
Winning Ways’ proven track record includes work with Fortune 500 companies, government contractors, and national non-profits such as Walmart, ASM, Human Rights Campaign, JLL, The Bernstein Companies, TIAG, and NEI. Joan became a best-selling author with her first book, The Leadership Evolution: Become a More Effective Leader.
