How We Compare
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything Your Procurement and HR Teams Need to Know
What makes AllOne Health different from the EAP we already have?
Many traditional EAPs struggle with low awareness and engagement, often resulting in utilization rates of only 2–3% in the public sector. AllOne Health takes a different approach by combining 24/7 live clinical support with a modern, easy-to-use digital experience that helps employees access care when and how they need it.
Our public sector EAP is designed specifically for the realities of government workforces, including first responders, frontline employees, union-represented teams, shift workers, and geographically dispersed staff. Beyond counseling, we provide a comprehensive suite of well-being services that support mental health, work-life challenges, crisis response, leadership development, and organizational resilience.
Most importantly, we deliver measurable outcomes and actionable reporting that help HR leaders, executives, and finance teams understand program impact while maintaining employee confidentiality.
How do you support first responders and trauma-exposed employees?
Public safety professionals and other trauma-exposed employees face unique stressors that require specialized support. AllOne Health provides access to clinicians experienced in working with first responders, emergency personnel, and high-stress public sector environments.
Our services include trauma-informed counseling, critical incident response, crisis support, peer support consultation, resilience resources, and leadership guidance following challenging events. Support is available around the clock, ensuring employees and their families can access help whenever they need it.
We understand the importance of trust and confidentiality in public safety cultures and work to create pathways for support that reduce barriers to seeking care.
How does AllOne Health handle union environments?
We have extensive experience serving unionized public sector organizations and understand the importance of balancing employee support with collective bargaining requirements.
Our team works collaboratively with HR leaders, labor relations professionals, and union representatives to ensure program implementation aligns with negotiated agreements and organizational policies. We prioritize equitable access, transparent communication, and strict confidentiality standards so employees can use EAP services with confidence.
This collaborative approach helps build trust across all stakeholder groups while ensuring employees receive consistent support.
How quickly can employees access counseling?
Employees can connect with support immediately through our 24/7 access model. When an employee reaches out, they speak with a live professional who can assess needs, provide immediate support, and help coordinate the most appropriate next steps.
For self-scheduled virtual counseling appointments, availability is often same day, next day, or within 48 hours. For in-person counseling sessions with an EAP clinician within AllOne Health’s provider network, appointments are generally arranged within 48 hours of the initial intake. Scheduling is based on the individual’s preferences, needs, and provider availability.
Depending on the situation, employees may receive crisis intervention, short-term counseling, referrals to specialized resources, or connections to community providers. Our goal is to reduce barriers to care and make it easy for employees to access support as soon as concerns arise, rather than waiting until challenges become more serious.
Is employee data confidential? How does HIPAA compliance work?
Yes. Employee privacy and confidentiality are foundational to our services.
AllOne Health follows applicable HIPAA requirements and maintains rigorous privacy and security protocols to protect personal health information. Individual employee interactions, counseling sessions, and personal information are not shared with employers except where required by law or when authorized by the employee.
Organizations receive aggregate reporting that helps measure program utilization and trends without identifying individual participants. This allows employers to understand workforce needs while preserving employee trust and confidentiality.
What does ROI look like for public sector organizations?
While outcomes vary by organization, government employers often evaluate EAP value through improvements in employee well-being, productivity, retention, attendance, workplace safety, and organizational resilience.
By helping employees address personal, family, financial, emotional, and workplace challenges earlier, EAP services can reduce the downstream costs associated with absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover, disability claims, and burnout. Organizations also benefit from support during critical incidents, leadership consultations, and workforce challenges that can affect operational performance.
AllOne Health provides reporting and insights that help organizations evaluate program engagement and demonstrate value over time.
Can AllOne Health support shift workers and distributed worksites?
Absolutely. Public sector workforces often operate across multiple locations, departments, and schedules, making accessibility essential.
Our services are available 24/7 through multiple channels, including phone, digital, and mobile access, allowing employees to connect with support regardless of shift, location, or job function. Whether employees work overnight schedules, in field-based roles, at remote facilities, or across multiple jurisdictions, they can access the same high-quality support and resources.
This flexibility helps ensure all employees have equitable access to care, not just those working traditional business hours.
Does AllOne Health support public sector RFP and procurement processes?
Yes. Our team has guided hundreds of government organizations through RFP responses, contract structuring, procurement reviews, and implementation planning.
We provide procurement-ready documentation, compliance information, and stakeholder support throughout the evaluation process. We also understand the unique requirements of government purchasing cycles and work within agency timelines, budgeting processes, and fiscal year schedules to help ensure a smooth procurement experience.
Is the EAP available to union-represented employees?
Yes. AllOne Health supports both represented and non-represented employee populations.
We structure EAP services within collective bargaining frameworks and work closely with HR teams, labor relations leaders, and union representatives to ensure equitable access across covered employee groups. Our approach maintains strict confidentiality standards while helping organizations provide consistent, high-quality support to all eligible employees and their family members.
Employees can access services with confidence, knowing their privacy is protected and participation remains confidential.
