Pride month is here and organizations around the globe are creating events to bring communities together, advocate for equal rights, and celebrate!
For members of the LGBTQIA+ community, these celebrations offer many benefits: They provide a sense of belonging and support. They create visibility for the marginalized. They recognize the good stuff.
All this, in turn, creates a positive impact on their mental health, which makes it easier to manage daily stressors and stay focused on reaching goals.
I applaud the strength and resiliency of the LGBTQIA+ community and encourage you to celebrate meaningful moments throughout the year. When there’s something to look forward to, it’s easier to feel optimistic.
